LOL.
Edit: This entry isn't in english because I forgot. LOL. ;p

...and he's a Touhou fan.
I really don't like to post youtube videos here or the likes, but this video is an exception to the rule. I know that he just memorized everything but even so, it's damn fucking awesome!
Just a small quote in description of the video:
"This is the longest stage/boss battle in the game in Boss Replay mode (fast-forwards through non-boss areas)."
Mister, I must say that you're amazing and I bow to you. Now I need to start playing those guys insteed of just listening the songs.

People say that I have killer eyes

After watching the episodes 7~9 of Ghost Hunt I must declare that I'm in love with the series, I still don't know why the subbers don't release their episodes faster, maybe because they're not fan of ghost stories or anything like that, that's the only reason that I can think of. LOL I know that subbing a serie is hard, but Ghost Hunt is very good. period.

The new case in those three episodes "The one who curses after school" is nice, it isn't better them the "Doll House" one, but it's nice.
I dunno if they're gonna give Mai any "powers" other than her dream ability. I guess when you stay in contact with those kind of things you end up gaining some powers or something. And seeing the Enma-Ai-wannabe getting pwned every time is funny as hell; Just to make sure I love Enma Ai but the girl in Ghost Hunt is just dumb she don't do anything at all other them "Oh, there is/isn't a spirit here." WTF, even I can make random guesses like that!

One of the biggest challenges of Ghost Hunt is to make you feel scared watching the stories in the anime. If Ghost Hunt was done in live-action rather them anime, it would work so much better to make you chill and stuff. But of course, it would be way more expensive thanks to all ghosts and stuff. But I guess everything right now works fine, as long as you get yourself in the mood that the anime proposes.
And just a little side note, that I'll probably will be stealing a couple of idea from Ghost Hunt to help me with the script of one of my short-films. Now where I can find a cute girl like Mai to help me?

Happy Birthday to Meh!~

Nice day with my friends Ivan and Jérôme. Went to Ivan's house to see some anime and a few movies, but since one of the guys (right, Felipe?) didn't show up, we saved the movies for another days, so we spent most of the time watching some Street Fighter and Capcom VS Snk 2 tournaments and seeing how bad some players are.
Also got a call from one of the best players of Street Fighter 3 in Brazil. Thanks Gabriel, and I hope you can be here in Rio by Wednesday for sure so we can do our little tournament. I know you're gonna win, but it's gonna be fun. :D

Just to make it clear, I wont be doing the review in English, since there's tons of other blogs that do that already. Sorry.

Ciel >>>> you
These days I've been playing so much Melty Blood that I guess I forgot how to play any other games. Not to mention all the tournament videos and combos and anything else that is related to the game.I know that Melty Blood is one hell of a unfair game, especially with all the juggles and infinite combos, but I just can't help loving it. It gives me a peaceful time, especially after countless hours of tense matches on Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike with my good friends. BTW, when the tournament is gonna happen guys? I need to get pwned and cry. ROFLMAO!
For those who are thinking that I'm a good player, no I'm not! I'm below average in any fighting game.
Melty Blood is just like Guilty Gear, but since it's anime based and has tons of girls, Melty Blood sure wins. I know it's a lame excuse, but I guess I don't have nothing more to learn in Guilty Gear, especially when the only character I play with gets worse in every new version of the game. Now that's luck.
But in Melty Blood that doesn't happen, every character is extremely powerful and can do serious damage if you know just the basic. And that's why I love Ciel, she's the only character I can win using lame combos. I know she isn't powerful as Nanaya or Kouma, but she's damn easy to play. So I was hoping that maybe some expert genius player read this blog and ask for a few killer combos. And I dare to ask, Ciel has any infinities? Of course not, right?
The only combo I know for Ciel is: 2A (4 hits) > 2B > 2C (2 hits) > j.A > j.B > j.A > j.B > j.C > grab or 22A/B/C and follow with a 236A to hit the ground before the enemy gets up. And I also know that you can from 2B > 6C (3 times) > 623A > air combo. But I don't know if those are the only combos with Ciel or she has any other combos.
And for those that wanna know which character I use in Guilty Gear, it's Baiken.
Black Lagoon taught me how to curse

So, I couple of days ago I finally started watching Black Lagoon and I know that every single person alive or dead already saw it and I'm probably the last one to watch it. But if there's someone besides me that didn't watched it go download/buy/whatever it now!
The anime is awesome from the moment it begins, with superior engrish lyrics from MELL, it's a love or love music with a cheese name that everyone loves. But the ED theme isn't that great, it has a nice melody but somewhat breaks all the action, I know that's the purpose of the ending, but it just doesn't fit there.
Leaving the OP/ED behind we have an spectacular anime. Some episodes lack a bit of action but when you think that the anime is gonna get boring or turns into something generic it drops down a Battle
Right now I just finished episode 14 with the loli-twin-trap-with-guns-I'm-horny-pedobear saga starting (saga = 2 episodes usually)! And I dunno what else the anime has to show, since I'm still waiting a episode with hot Balalaika action and maybe more Battle Maid, even if I know this isn't going to happened...life is unfair. =/Putting Maids and Traps aside, the anime like I said is very nice with enough action to keep everyone interested, the history isn't that great I admit it, but it's good enough to keep most of the things tied down and make a pleasant journey. The soundtrack on the other hand isn't that good, it has some good musics here and there, but you'll not notice most of them.
To finish, I must say I've been enjoying watching Black Lagoon these days and I hope the anime have a nice ending and I'll probably cheer for a third season like everyone else around the Internet. And for those that was expecting a foul mouth post, I'm sorry, but I'm a good boy and I keep those thing to curse people in real fucking life.

Rurouni Kenshin Novels

So, today I finally finished the both novels from Rurouni Kenshin that were released here in Brazil a few months ago. And I must say that I'm quite impressed and disappointed at the same time with the novels.
I'll start out with the good stuff. The translations were done very very well and have thousands of notes about historical figures and anything else you should know, like places, Buddhist mantras, kanjis translations, etc. It was a perfect (in my point of view) translation and I hope that more novels like these get released here in the future. The Suzumiya Haruhi or Kino no Tabi novels would be a good thing right? (Let a little man dream!) ^_^
Now for the bad stuff: the absolutely lack of original stories.
The only original story was the first one in the 1st volume and that's it. All other three stories (each Volume has two stories) are already in the original manga released 3 years before.
Of course that I still enjoyed reading those battles and adventures again and with some new information here and there about the places and stuff, but that's it. I only enjoyed reading again because I'm a huge fan of Rurouni Kenshin series, I bet that most people would get bored reading something that they already saw. That's the only flaw I saw.
Do I recommend this novels to everyone? Yes! But only if you're a fan of Rurouni Kenshin or you're interested in the history of the Meiji Era, otherwise I would say that it's better for you to read the manga.

I'm in your school...

...stealing your Otomez!
That was the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw Mariya with the flu mask, there's no way I can't think of some random gangster using this, just don't ask me why.

Tah gang. But don't be fooled, it's a trap!
Mariya is tah powaah there's no man or woman who's stand in her way, she's just as bad ass as Light-yo but she don't even need a Shinigami so that means that she can even pwns him without much effort, that's Mariya's way. She kicked so many asses when she was a kid, that now she's afraid of her own power, but fool you not. Mariya can still kill you five times before you even realize that you're already dead.

If you still think that Mariya isn't that much overpower, just remember in Episode 10 when she remembers her childhood with Mizuho and there's a scene when Mizuho appears in a swimsuit even when he was still a boy. That's Mariya power.

I wonder who are the bad guys in this pic, there's no way stalking lolis is a bad thing and if it is wrong that should change! But I feel sorry for those evil guys, they're about to receive Mariya's Heaven Punishment!
That said, everyone can bows to Mariya-sama now because or you do that or you'll suffer some more serious damage.
BTW, I'm a Takako fan, even if Mariya ownz.

Lack of creativity
That's always happens with me when I start writing about something that I really want, all the hype I've in the begging starts to get all confused with me trying to put everything I want to express into words and when I see my text is all damn confused and even I can't understand anything that's written on it. I know that I'm not the only one that suffers from this, if I'm that is so wrong, and I know that if I take my time I'll eventually put my thoughts in order and start writing the way I wanted again.
But sometimes, no matter how hard I try the inspiration don't come back and I put the text on-hold and go do other things to relax, and that wouldn't be a problem, since I know most people do that, but my little amazing problem is that my inspiration for writing things here about anime, music or anything that I postponed during all day, just shows up during the dawn. It's not unusual that I wake up 4am and start to write about stuff that I know it's somewhat good and if I don't write during that time I'll most likely forget it when I wake up in the morning.
So, you might ask what's the purpose of this little entry, and I can answer you that's it has no reason at all, I just wanted to talk about something random to break a little the posts about anime, game and music. I guess that finishes the random-Sunday-without-nothing-to-do-and-post.

Zoku Touhou Komori Uta

This is without a doubt one of the best doujinshi CD's I've ever heard so far. It can even stand against one of my favorites doujinshi bands, Mint Jam, if not surpass it, especially since their last two CD's were poorly done.
I started listening to this CD after finishing the terrible "Touhou Violin3" that even if the name claims to be VIOLIN there's no freaking violin in the entire CD! What is wrong with people naming a CD that doesn't have that instrument, that's dumb, but enough about that CD, let's talk about the "Zoku..". Well, I need to say that if you don't like calm, instrumental and peaceful music you'll most likely hate this CD, but I recommend you to give it a try even if this isn't your kind of music.

Pieces like 「53ミニッツの青い海」 and 「風神少女」 are gonna blow your fucking minds away! If you think that whatever you listen is good, you don't know a thing! These two songs are worth your time and I can guarantee that you'll enjoy at least these two songs, but if you somehow dislike the entire CD I can't do much except say "I'm sorry" since you didn't enjoy it. It'd be a shame. =/
Also it's funny that I can enjoy both extremes of music, (I know it isn't rare, but it's normal either) especially after praising so much the Lost Childlen doujinshi CD. It's like a 180° change of musical direction, but I'm glad that I can like both rock and classical pieces.

This CD was one of the few out there that touched the very deep of my soul. I guess that when this happens it's the true achievement for a composer, when he can touch someone else souls, that means that his job was extremely well done. But here, when we talk about doujinshi music or any kind of arrange it's way harder in my opinion, since you need to take a song that has someone else's spirit and put your own feelings in it. OK, that sounded like some random line coming from a J-Drama or some touching scene, but that's what I think about these CD's.
On a bad side note, I don't know the home page of these people who made this awesome CD, so if anyone does, please share it, especially because I need to find out if they have any other CD's like this little one.

Hardcore Run

Before I start, I promise that this entry will the be last one about the Tales of Destiny Remake because I know no one else wants to keep reading about this here in this blog, especially when this isn't a game blog...it isn't right? So, yesterday I decided that I should challenge myself by trying to finish the remake from Tales of Destiny in a hardcore way, just like a few Japanese players are doing right now. At first I thought all I had to do was be quick and smart enough to hit the enemies and just run away after landing a 2 or 3 hits, but how wrong I was.
Let me explain a little better the challenge. It's very simple: Finish the game using only one character (Stan) and playing all the way through with the difficult settings on Hard. And just to point out that I even could defeat all the bosses on Hard, I quit doing that when I fought Irenu..that fuc**** b*t*! ~.~
But since I didn't have anything else to play I guess it's a good thing to keep me busy until I a) find a job b) get money out of nowhere c) wait for my first figure to arrive.
So after starting the game it was quite OK, the first two dungeons (well, they aren't exactly dungeons but you get the idea, right?), the game was easy, not a walk in the park but it was OK...but them I had to go to Jenis, I dunno if that's the right name, it's the city that you have to go with Woodrow after saving Chelsea, and since I can't put him as support I
need to go through an entire snowfield alone getting my ass kicked by 3 or 4 enemies that have at least twice more HP than me and they take around 100~150 damage from my amazing 800HP. Hurray (not)!
Now I keep wondering how in Haruhi-sama name those Japanese can play that way! I've already died 3 times trying to get out of the dungeon and I'm getting kinda bored. I was thinking that I should just try to finish in the Normal difficult or finish the EX-Dungeon and buy the extra options like Survive and the other one, so maybe I can play it the way it's supposed to. But since the EX-Dungeon is a pain because some floors (4TH FLOOR I'M TALKING TO YOU!) are a pain and I can spend almost 1 hour there, I get kinda bored and end up leaving when I reach the 5 or 6th floor and thanks to that I can't get the extra options.
And thanks to all that, I don't know what to do, and I'm here to ask for the help of my readers (1 person can be considered 'readers'?) about what to do. Should I just give up this stupid challenge since I'm not Japanese and I
didn't sell my soul to the Haruhi of videogames or should I continue with this insane and (im)possible task?
The future of this blog
A few days ago, I said I would keep blogging in my home language, since it'seasier and that I would like to keep it like that since it was my main goal, but I started to realize that most of my incoming traffic is from people from outside of Brazil, so after thinking a little, I decided to make some posts in english, like the few previous ones, and I found that it was way easier to write and to make everything with a little more sense (not that much too!) and make everything sound a little better.
So from now on I'll star blogging only in English, but it's not a 100% thing, I'll eventually make some posts in Portuguese, like about the mangas I buy here and that's it probably.
So I hope everyone has a little patience with me and I'll try to make this blog a decent one with funny (I'll try my best) entries and a somewhat good (good = very poor in this case) writing skills. LOL. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
Sumomo mo momo mo #09

At least a Hirano Aya episode,
I didn't payed much attention to the episode, but I know that Iinchou hates muscle-heads and she needs someone to love her the way she wants. And of course Inuzuka is stupid enough to not only don't notice that but he ends up ruin her self-confidence saying he hates martial arts. Poor Sanae.

Genshiken #13

Two years have passed, and now we have another Genshiken episode for all the otakus. Presenting the ubber cute Ogiue, the I-hate-otaku-yet-I'm-a-mad-yaoi-fan-girl. I really liked the seiyuu that they picked for Ogiue, but I've no clue who she is, anyone care to help?
Also, Kuchiki is back, even if I don't really like him in the manga, he's somewhat funny during the anime, and his jokes are stupid as always (OK, and funny too). The new OP was nice, I really liked the music and they replaced GGXX for KoFXI. LOL!
The only problem I noticed was the short duration of the episode and have to wait forever for the next episode, and the animation wasn't that good, I was expecting something way better especially since it's an OVA.

Haru'Hi'gurashi

I LOL'ed. The weird versions are funny as hell, the songs by Higurashi were quite well done, I really liked how "higurashi no naku goro ni"
and "Why, or why not" were performed, both singers were decent and didn't
ruin the songs. The Higurashi OP was especially well performed, I admit I
didn't like much the singer of the original OP, Shimamiya Eiko, but the girl
who sings here, Ruou Ryouki, have some powerful voice.
Then the Haruhi songs, "Bouken desho desho?" is nice, but how can you
beat God? There's no way to beat Hirano Aya and that's the absolute truth,
but at least the song didn't turn into crap so it's ok...right? The next one
is "Hare Hare Yukai", yep the ED song...they dared to sing this one and
unfortunately it's a failure, especially when you only have 2 girls to sing a 3 girl
song, kinda ruins the mood.
The next two songs I can't really comment unless I bash them a lot,
well I can let "Lost my Music" pass since it isn't my favorite, but "God Knows..."
I can't. I know it's a fan song and it turned out quite nice, especially
because that it looks kinda from a garage band, but it's impossible to reach
God level, no matter how hard you try, sorry Nakae Kouki, you tried your
best and almost reached there, but there's no way you can bet Hirano Aya in
this song...not you and not anyone else can. And to finish the CD we have
"Koi no Nagato Densetsu", the parody from Mikuru's song with "Nagato Yuki"
singing (ok, she's just talking) some lines of the songs, it was quite funny
to hear it, and the girl singing it looks as bad as the real Mikuru (Goto
Yuko) when she sang that.
If you now want to listen to this just as bad as you want to pee, you
can download it here, and here is the official website.
Taka Tony's Entangle

Just seen it, and I'm happy to see that Tony's skills are still top-notch. But even if he's still one of the best artists out there, this doujinshi isn't as quite good as his previous one. I still don't know why, but maybe it's because I don't know much about the anime this time, but when he released his Zoids doujinshi in early 2006 (I guess it was around that time) I enjoyed it a lot, but this time the story was kinda..dunno, something was missing. I really don't know much about Zegapain, and I've still yet to see it, and since a lot of people said that it was a underrated anime, maybe I should download it and watch it so maybe I can enjoy the doujinshi when I get to know all the characters (i.e. all the girls).
I'm yet to own a physical copy of any Tony's doujinshi, but I'll
probably get at least 3 doujinshis this year and one of his artbooks (if
everything goes the way I expect). So if you didn't see this new doujinshi, I
recommend that you download it now! Here if you wanna see some good quality
Lost Child Arrange Album ''Lost Childlen'' Review

Well, I normally don't review music CD's, because I don't have a clue what to do but I'll make an exception today and do a little review about this CD that was released in C71. Before I begin, the torrent for download and the official site. Now I can start the review...I hope.
I never played the Lost Children game but I've the OST and it's already pretty much awesome, but this arrange was far superior from everything I've heard so far that the musics just blow me away. From the 15 tracks on the CD, the only one that I really disliked was track 5 "Cyber Space 303" by JOYH.TV, since I'm not much of a fan of eletronic music I guess that's explains why I couldn't like it. But all other 14 tracks are from good to awesome, and I'm not joking, if you hear the CD I'll understand what I mean, unless of course you don't like rock, them it's really a big issue and you can just stay away from this CD. =/
The tracks you really should look forward to listen is "L.L." the main theme of the game, "Sledge Hammer" and "Demons Carnival", those three are the superior tracks of the CD. The other musics are nice too but you just can't compare these three with the others. Other tracks like "Crying" and "Eclipse" have slow beats and gives you a nice felling, not to mention that it breaks a little from all the rock you'll be listening and makes you relax for the upcoming songs.
"Heavy Edge" from Thinktank is the only track with vocals (IIRC), and it's not that much of vocal if you just sing 5 lines of text, but the music is nice, with some very good bass and good guitars. Other tracks like"Engage" and "The Decisive Showdown" are kinda experimental songs, I would've putted these two in the same category as "Crying" and "Eclipse" but for some reason I don't quite feel that these two belong in that category.
Overall the CD is very very good, have some nice arranges and quite a few good tracks, if I were to rate the CD, I would give it a 8.0 out of 10. If someone already heard it, please share your comments. And I apologise for the stupid lame review, I just can't write anything about music, so please forgive me. LOL.

Brother Beat #11 (Fim)

Ano novo + Horie Yui

ALSO, Feliz Ano Novo, Happy new year, 新年快乐,
